The frame of Strand 1 is shaped to create a double curvature for the woven surfaces constituting the seat and back, hereby achieving a unique form and maximal seating comfort.
Strand 1 was exhibited the first time at the Danish Museum for Art and Design in 1996 and was awarded by the Danish Arts Foundation.
